Lions Public School organised Cyber Surakshit workshop for the students of classes  X and XI to equip students with essential knowledge about online safety and responsible digital behaviour on 17 May’25. The workshop was conducted by Dr. Rakshit Tandon, a renowned   International Cyber Security Expert, Cyber Crime Investigator, Consultant CID Haryana Police .

The session was interactive, with real-life examples explaining cyber bullying, cyber frauds, and other cyber threats that helped students understand the consequences of unsafe online practices. Students were also educated on the importance of digital footprints, privacy settings on social media, and how to report suspicious online activities. He talked about ways to keep oneself safe in the cyber world. He shared ways to keep ourselves digitally safe and the importance of limited and judicial usage of digital devices

This workshop not only raised awareness about the dangers of the digital world but also empowered students with practical tools to stay safe online. The initiative was greatly appreciated by all students and is a step forward in promoting digital literacy.
