On Saturday, 20th December 2025, Lions Public School, Sector 10 A, Gurugram, celebrated its Annual Day titled “Rangotsav – A Spectrum of Joy” with great enthusiasm and splendour at the school premises. The colourful event showcased the creativity and talent of students from Classes III to V, while highlighting the deeper significance of seasons and colours in shaping human emotions and life experiences.

The programme commenced with a warm welcome by the students, followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, invoking blessings for a successful celebration. This was succeeded by a soulful Ganesh Vandana, which set a serene and auspicious tone for the event.

The Principal, Ms. Dipinder Kaur, extended a formal welcome to the audience and appreciated the efforts of students and teachers. She also emphasised the importance of holistic education through cultural activities. In her address, she briefed the achievements and growth of the school.

Each performance beautifully illustrated how colours and season influence human emotions, teaching valuable life lessons. The audience was deeply inspired by the thoughtful presentation and confident performances. The programme was further enriched by the motivating address by the Ex – Chairman, Lion D.V Taneja, who appreciated the students’ creativity and encouraged them to embrace diversity and positivity in life. Vice Chairmen Lion Bhim Vasudev and Lion Sudhir Taneja, Ex Chairman Lion Vijay Budhiraja, Lions Club President Gurugram City and Treasurer, Lion Tarun Wadhwa –, Secretary Lion Dr. Sunil Singla, Lion Ashok Somal, Lion Om Wadhwa, Ms Aruna Behl – Vice Principal Lions Public School, Sector -102 and PTA members were also present on the occasion, adding grace to the event.

A heartfelt vote of thanks was proposed by the School Manager, Mr. Rajiv Kumar, who expressed gratitude to the management, teachers, parents, and students for making the event a grand success. The programme concluded with the National Anthem.

The cultural extravaganza, Rangotsav – A Spectrum of Joy, truly lived up to its name, presenting a vibrant blend of dances, performances, and colourful themes that reflected beautifully the spirit of togetherness, creativity, and cultural richness of Lions Public School.
