Lions Public School, Sector 10A, organized a parenting session on psycho-social and academic development for the parents of students from Classes IX to XI on Saturday, 11th April 2026. The session aimed to equip parents with strategies to support their children’s emotional well-being and academic progress.
The session was addressed by school Principal Ms. Dipinder Kaur.
She informed parents about the changes in the CBSE curriculum for class IX and and teaching learning strategies for class X and XI.
She also highlighted the importance of balanced parenting and the role of parental guidance in shaping students’ academic success and character.
School Manager Mr. Rajiv Kumar emphasized discipline, time management, and constructive communication between parents and children. –
School Counsellor Ms. Suman Wadhawan provided insights into adolescent psychology, stressing empathy, emotional support, and the need for a stress-free environment at home.
The interactive session encouraged parents to share their concerns and receive practical solutions. Overall, it proved to be a meaningful initiative, reinforcing the school’s commitment to holistic student development.
