The school organized Science Exhibition -JIGYASA on 6th and 7th October 2023. The Chief Guest of the day was Mr. Vikas Dhanda EO I, HSVP, Gurugram. It aimed to provide a common platform to students to give shape to their innovative ideas and to increase awareness about the close relationship between science, technology and society. All students from classes III to XI participated in the exhibition and displayed their innovative ideas. The exhibition was inaugurated by Mr. Vikas Dhanda in presence of the school Chairman Lion Dr. K.S. Dhaka, School Principal and Manager.
Science exhibition was based on various themes like simple machines and renewable source of energy, food and nutrition, pollution prevention and control using alternate source of energy, astronomy, AI and SDG goals. Models of Chandrayan -3 with landing of Vikram lander along with the movement of Pragyan rover on lunar surface caught the attention of viewers who applauded and appreciated models.
Smart street light based on sensor telescope, smart robot based on AI, anti-sleep alarm, prevention of land pollution by air powered robot, highway turning alarm to avoid accidents, floating house and balanced diet food pyramid were built by the students. Millet counter, naturopathy, colour therapy and various herbs made of neem, tulsi and alovera counters were also displayed by students.
The students also organized visual presentations to help everyone understand the concepts of their working models. Besides this, there were magic experiments performed and students explained the science behind it.
Mr. Vikas Dhanda along with the Principal, went around looking at the different models designed by the students and was overwhelmed to see the confidence and scientific spark of the students. He appreciated and applauded the little scientist & wished them good luck.
