Students of Class XII-B, visited the National Handicrafts Museum & Hastkala Academy, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, on 4 August 2026. The visit provided students an enriching opportunity to explore India’s rich heritage of traditional weaves, textiles, handicrafts, folk art and artistic techniques.
They observed diverse craft traditions from different regions and gained a deeper understanding of their cultural and historical significance.
The visit helped students connect classroom learning with real-life experiences while enhancing their observation, creativity and cultural awareness. Painting students also drew inspiration from traditional motifs, patterns, colours and designs, developing a greater appreciation for the skill and creativity of Indian artisans.
