On May 27th September, 2024, students from grades 9-12 embarked on an exhilarating tour to Manali. 170 Students from Classes 9-12 were accompanied by 16 teachers. On Day 1 in Manali, students visited the Hadimba Temple, an ancient wooden structure set amidst dense deodar forests, offering serene vibes and spiritual solace. The temple’s intricate carvings and peaceful surroundings were captivating. Later, they visited visited the famous Vashist Kund, an important Hindu Pilgrimage Centre. The Hot Suphur Spring of the village are believed to have been created by Lakshman, the younger brother of Lord Ram. In evening they explored Mall Road. On Day 2 in Manali, they went to Snow Point which is enroute to Solang Valley and India’s largest hill mountain tunel “ Atal Tunel”. On Day 3 in Manali, they visited Buddhist Monestry and also Van Vihar, a lush green park by the Beas River. The towering deodar trees, tranquil boating lake, and well maintained paths provided a refreshing retreat.
