Lions Public School, Sec-10A, Gurugram celebrated 79th Independence Day with zeal and patriotic fervour on 15th August 2025. The Chief Guest of the day Lion
The distinguished guests were welcomed on the beats of the school band. The
programme began with the ceremonial hoisting of the Tricolour, followed by a perfectly synchronised march past that set the tone of pride and discipline. Students then showcased their prowess through impressive self-defence drills and graceful skating displays.
The cultural segment began with a soulful rendition of “Ae Watan Watan Mere” by the school orchestra setting a patriotic tone for the morning. Thereafter, Principal, Ms. Dipinder Kaur welcomed the distinguished guests and wished everyone on this day. In her inspiring address she urged everyone to dream of and work for a Viksit Bharat- that shines in every field. The tiny tots of classes I & II then performed a delightful dance performance titled “Nanhe Desh Bhakt” followed by a thought-provoking theatrical act ‘Peace Without Words’ which conveyed a powerful message of unity and patriotism.
The Chief Guest moved the gathering with his stirring address urging all to embrace dedication, contribute to nation-building and above all to save and nurture environment. The Presiding Officer, Lion Dr. K.S. Dhaka in his address motivated everyone to honour the sacrifices of our freedom fighters through integrity, hard work, and by upholding the spirit of unity in diversity
The programme concluded with an electrifying Finale Dance-‘Vande Bharatam’ leaving the audience mesmerised.
The celebration was a vibrant tapestry of pride, unity, and patriotism — a day to remember and cherish.
