On Earth Day, Lions Public School School ,Sector 10 A, Gurugram, organized a comprehensive Earth Day celebration ,aimed at fostering awareness, instilling environmental stewardship, and inspiring action among students . Earth Day celebration comprised a variety of activities for classes III-VIII like ‘Virtual Field Trip’, ‘Poem Recitation , ‘Poster Making’ and ‘Speaking Activity’ to celebrate and honour planet earth and its natural environment. A special assembly was also presented by the students of Classes IX – XII. It included Hindi poem recitation on ‘Mother Earth’, G.K quiz, a thought provoking short skit and Nukkad Naatak to generate awareness about environmental issues. Earth Day celebration was centered around the theme “Planet vs Plastic”. Student along with their teacher , pledged to remain dedicated to promoting environmental awareness .Earth Day celebration was a resounding success which ended with the speech by Principal Ma’am  Ms. Dipinder Kaur, encouraging the students to express their creativity and raise awareness about environmental issues .
