The Annual Science Exhibition JIGYASA 2024 at Lions Public School was successfully held on October 18, 2024 and October 19, 2024. The event aimed to encourage students to develop scientific thinking, creativity, and innovation. Students from grades 1 to 12 participated, showcasing a wide range of projects in various scientific domains such as physics, chemistry, biology, environmental science, and technology.
The event was inaugurated by Lion Dr. K. S. Dhaka. In his opening remarks, he emphasized the importance of practical science in education and motivated students to explore the limitless possibilities of scientific research.
The exhibition featured many projects, with a strong focus on sustainability and innovative technology. The key projects included renewable Energy Models, Robotics and AI, Environmental Conservation, Innovative Medical Solutions, Optics and Light Phenomena, Bridges and Structures etc.
The science exhibition was a grand success, as it provided students with a platform to showcase their scientific abilities and innovative ideas. The enthusiasm and hard work put into the projects were evident, and the event fostered a spirit of learning and teamwork among participants. Overall, it was a highly enriching experience for both the participants and the visitors.
Both the visitors and the judges lauded the creativity and dedication of the students. Parents expressed their pride in seeing their children take an active interest in scientific endeavours. The Principal, Ms. Dipinder Kaur congratulated the participants and encouraged them to continue their pursuit of scientific knowledge.
